SEASON OPENS APRIL 15
Reservations for 2024 Now Open
Reservations for 2025 open as of 5/1/24

Welcome

WELCOME

We look forward to your visit to Movin' West RV Park. Our RV park is the closest to the town of Graeagle and puts you within walking distance of the town’s shops, restaurants, golf and the millpond.

The Park is located in eastern Plumas County within a quarter of a mile of downtown Graeagle. You will recognize us on your arrival by the stagecoach and sign out front. Our elevation is at approximately 4200 feet in the high sierra which means that your visit with us will most likely be a few degrees cooler than your home.

Movin' West RV Park backs up to open forest space with beautiful paths for walking, mountain bike riding, and exploring with your pets. With so many great activities close by, Movin' West RV park is the perfect home base for your next camping adventure.

PARK MAP AND LOCATION

The Park map is for you to get an idea of our RV park's layout. The map is not to scale. To give you some idea of distance, the cabins are located 400 feet from the restrooms.

Feel free to call us and ask questions regarding our sites. Some sites may appear small on the map when in reality they are capable of comfortably holding a 45-foot unit.

Our RV Park is small. If you are coming in with several friends or family members, we may not be able to get you all next to each other. Even so with the park's layout, you will still be close.

PARK RULES AND GUIDELINES

We use park rules and guidelines in our park for the safety of all of our guests. For most people, these are just guidelines as you understand the common courtesy that makes staying in an RV Park fun and enjoyable not only for you but also for your neighbors.

Speed Limit: 5 1/2 miles per hour. We have plenty of children but none to spare.

Children: We like to see Kids having fun under the watchful eye of a caring Parent. Please put bicycles, skateboards, and scooters away at dusk. Park Rules suggest and recommend anyone under 16 years of age to wear a helmet when riding any of the above.

Check-in: Check-in 12:00 (Noon) and Checkout 11:00 AM-  If you arrive after 6:00 PM please be courteous to other RV park guests i.e. watch your headlights and keep noise to a minimum

Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Pets: Pets are welcome if kept on a leash and confined to your campsite and RV at all times. It is your responsibility to clean up after your pets, and use the Bags and waste receptacles provided near the dog walk areas.  Pets must not be left unattended at the campsite.  Please keep barking dogs under control.

Litter: Please keep your site clean. Please dispose of all trash upon check-out of the site.  Do not leave trash outside at night due to bear activity.

Dumpsters: Are located by the picnic area and are for household garbage only. Please do not put appliances, camp furniture or any other large items in or around the dumpster area.  Because of bear activity, dumpsters are locked at 8:00 PM and opened at 8:00 AM.

Laundry: The laundry facility is available during posted hours for all campers during their stay.  The clothesline is provided for your convenience, do not hang anything outside of your vehicles to dry.

Fire Safety: Wood-burning campfires are restricted until further notice.  Propane campfire pits are allowed all season.

Rent: For two persons per site and is due at the time of reservation. There is an additional charge for extra Guests.  Only one sleeping unit per site. Substituting Guests is not permissible. No Refunds for early departure. Sleeping outside of your sleeping unit is prohibited for security reasons.

Responsibility: Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items, or personal injury. If rules are not followed you will be asked to leave.

Firearms: Firearms, fireworks, or explosives are not permitted in the park.

Pickup Campers: Pickup campers may not be removed from the vehicle.

Common Sense: Please be courteous to others. Do not drive, ride bicycles, or walk through others' campsites.

As long as we all respect others and follow these park rules and guidelines we should all have a nice restful vacation.

Management reserves the right at any time to make changes to these Guidelines that are in the best interest of the park and its guests. These guidelines are not all-inclusive.
